Any registration that is submitted without the proper registration fees and/or all attendees will be canceled.

Payment Policy for Family Events (Holy Family Fest, Totus Tuus Family Conference)

Some multi-day events allow for a deposit payment up front and a choice of payment plan to pay the balance. If the event that you are registering for allows for this, these options will present themselves when you are registering. The deposit must be paid at the time of registration to hold the reservation.

Full balance payment is due no later than 60 days before the event start date. Within this 60-day period, if the credit card transaction is declined, the registered family will have 7 days to correct the situation before their registration is canceled and their lodging is opened up to another family.

We appreciate an initial payment of the full amount, as it helps us procure items to prepare for the event, but it is not required.

Payment Policy for Individual Retreats (Alone with God Retreat, Discernment Weekend, Into the Deep Youth Retreat, Laborers in the Vineyard Retreat, Marriage Retreat)

Payment is due in full at the time of registration.

Refund/Cancellation Policy for Family Events

No refunds will be given within 29 days of the event start date for family events and within 14 days for individual retreats. Payments that are lost due to cancellation are unable to be applied to future events. Refer to table below for details on each event.

Event registrations are directly tied to specific families or individuals and not transferable to another. Available lodging is released first to those on the AFC managed waiting list.

Note: Meal plans that are paid for separately from lodging and registration are 100% refundable up to 2 weeks prior to the event, after which they are not refundable.

* Cancellations which occur 30–59 days before the event start date will receive a refund of 50% (for paid totals in excess of $200) or the total amount paid minus the $100 non-refundable deposit (for paid totals less than $200).

Family to Family Program

The purpose of the Family to Family Program is to offset all or part of the cost to attend an AFC event for families or individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford to do so.

For our smaller events, registration price already includes lodging and meals and the combined price is eligible to be discounted.

For the Holy Family Fests and Totus Tuus Conference, only registration cost and “basic” lodging cost are eligible to be discounted. “Basic” lodging is defined as the lowest priced cabins available at the time of application or any campsite. Meal plans are not eligible for coverage through this program. Exceptions to this rule may be implemented at the discretion of the AFC.

Any family or individual requesting a discount through this program must agree that they are fully intending to attend this event barring an act of God or force majeure. They must also agree to pay as much as they are financially able so that the AFC can help as many families as possible.

Families and individuals may benefit from the Family to Family Program only once per year per type of event, but may benefit multiple times per year for different types of events. (Eg. only one Holy Family Fest per year, but you may apply for a Holy Family Fest and Totus Tuus Conference.)

Please note that in processing these applications, since our ministry focuses on ministering to families, the funds are primarily given to requesting families who are registering for our family events, and, secondarily to individuals who are requesting to attend our family events and or individual retreats.
