Elizabeth Phillips
Chairwoman
Elizabeth (Beth) Phillips is an AFC Disciple Life Member. She and her husband, Nick, who is also a Disciple Life Member, are the proud parents of five children and grandparents of one. Beth graduated in 1986 from the University of Toledo with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy, but has been a stay-at-home mom since 1992. She and her family have been involved in the Apostolate since 1996.
William Keck
Vice Chairman
William (Bill) Keck is an AFC Disciple Life Member. He and his wife, Eileen, who is also a Disciple Life Member, are the proud parents of eight children and grandparents of ten. Bill graduated in 1980 from Hofstra University with a bachelor of business administration degree in administration of computer systems. He and his family have been involved in the Apostolate since 1994. Bill currently works for Freedom Mortgage Corporation as a senior loan officer.
Randy Christensen
Director & President
Randy and his wife, Diane, are AFC Disciple Life Members. Involved in the AFC since 1986, they are parents of seven children and grandparents of nine. Randy graduated in 1983 from the University of Nebraska with a degree in B.S. Management Technology with emphasis in manufacturing, as well as from Southeast Community College, Milfred, NE, in A.A.S. Diesel Technology. He has spent his career in quality, manufacturing, and facility management.
Joseph Menkhaus
Director & Executive Vice President
Joseph and his wife, Christy, are AFC Disciple Life Members. They are the parents of eight children and have been active members of the AFC since 2001. Joe graduated from Miami University in 1991 with a BS in economics. He is presently a project manager in sales for EnviroServe.
Mark Fiorentino
Director
Mark Fiorentino is an AFC Disciple Life Member. He and his wife, Nancy, who is also a Disciple Life Member, are the parents of seven children. Mark graduated from North Georgia College in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is presently a manager in quality but has held multiple positions throughout his career in automotive manufacturing. He and his family have been involved in the AFC since 1993.
Rory Freiermuth
Director
Rory is an AFC Catholic Corps Life Member. He received a bachelor of science degree (discipline of fisheries) from the University of Minnesota. Rory has been serving the Apostolate full-time for 32 years in various capacities, after having been professionally employed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for eight years. Currently, he is serving in the development, facilities management, and human resources departments, and is a member of the Catholic Corps Men’s governing committee.
Matt Miller
Director
Matt Miller is an AFC Disciple Life Member. Matt and his wife, Julie, also a Disciple Life Member, are the parents of five children. Matt received a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a master of science in the same from Purdue University. Matt is currently an engineering manager in the aerospace industry. He and his family have been involved in the AFC since 2008.
Mary Sue
Director
Mary is an AFC Catholic Corps Life Member who has been serving the AFC full-time for over 26 years. She received a bachelor’s degree in special education from the Ball State University of Indiana, and was professionally employed as a special education teacher for 8 years before joining the Catholic Corps. Currently, Mary serves in many areas and is the head of the Catholic Corps Women’s community.
Lance Docken
Director
Lance is a convert to the Catholic faith and an AFC Disciple Second Degree Member. He and his wife, Allyson, who is also a Disciple Second Degree Member, are the proud parents of seven children and are grandparents as well. Lance has served as Senior Vice President at large marketing corporations and has 20+ years’ experience in strategic planning and execution, Mergers and Acquisitions. He co-founded and now operates a Marketing Agency. He and his family have been involved in the Apostolate since 2000.
