Jesus revealed the Father by calling Him by that name.
When Jesus drove the money changers from the temple, He said, “You shall not make my Father’s house a house of trade” (John 2:16).
He said to His disciples, “By this my Father is glorified; that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love” (John 15:8-9).
Jesus taught us to love the Father because the Father loves us and wants to help us in all our needs. And when our earthly lives come to an end, He wants to bring us to His dwelling in Heaven.
