We should respond to God’s goodness by (1) finding joy in Him since He gives us eternal hope, and (2) worshiping Him and serving Him.

1. We should find joy in God.

We belong to God. He loves us and wants us to love Him, so that we might be with Him in Heaven for all eternity. Through fervent prayer and the proper reception of the sacraments, God gives us the grace to love Him and to find our joy in Him.

2. We are to worship and serve our God and Creator.

We owe God our worship and loving service. We worship Him by loving Him and adoring Him. We show loving service to God by obedience to His will.
