We invite any single or married person, who is a fully practicing Catholic, loyal to the Magisterium, and at least 18 years old to discern a call to Disciple Membership.
Email [email protected] to let us know that you are interested in becoming a Disciple Member. We will get in touch to answer any questions you may have and get to know you better.
Fill out an application.
When you are ready to begin the journey of discernment, we will ask you to fill out an application for Disciple Membership. In order to complete your application you will need:
- Dates when you received the sacraments
- Letter of intent explaining how you heard about the AFC and why you want to become a Disciple Member
- Recent picture of yourself
In addition, you will need to ask your pastor to send a letter of recommendation to [email protected]. Feel free to email us if you have any questions!
Discern a call to lifelong membership, one step at a time.
After your completed application has been reviewed and approved by AFC leadership, you can begin discerning Disciple Membership one step at a time.
- Discernment Cooperator Commitment: six-month commitment, renewed over a period of 2–4 years
- First Degree Commitment: one-year commitment, renewed annually over a period of 3–6 years
- Second Degree Commitment: three-year commitment, with the option to renew once
- Life Commitment
At any point in the process, if you discern that God is not calling you to lifelong membership, that’s okay. We welcome your involvement in the AFC’s mission, whether or not you are a Member! Also, check out the Membership FAQ.
