MORNING OFFERING
Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. Help me and all the members of my family, parish, and the Apostolate to take up our crosses this day and to be strengthened and guided by the Most Holy Family.
Give us the grace to fulfill our destinies and to have total trust in You. Help us not to be disturbed about the past (provided that we are in the state of grace) or worried about the future, but to realize that we are secure in Your Will when we fulfill the responsibilities of each present moment as perfectly and as mercifully as we can for the unique mission of the Apostolate for Family Consecration. Let the Apostolate fulfill its destiny while always abiding in Christ and remaining an obedient and fruitful branch of the Catholic Church.
Help us to gratefully offer our prayers, works, joys, and sufferings, along with our interior and exterior possessions, including the value of our good actions, past, present, and future, all for the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, all through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, all in union with St. Joseph. Amen.
THE MAGNIFICAT
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid. For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed; because He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His Name. And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him. He has shown might with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. He has given help to Israel, His servant, mindful of His mercy, even as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity for ever. Amen.
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PRAYER
O Immaculate Conception, Mary, my Mother, live in me, my family, and all the members, benefactors, and cooperators of the Apostolate; act in us; speak in and through us. Think your thoughts in our minds, love through our hearts. Give us your own dispositions and feelings. Teach, lead, and guide us to Jesus. Correct, enlighten, and expand our thoughts and behavior. Possess our souls; take over our entire personalities and lives. Replace us with yourself. Incline us to constant adoration and thanksgiving; pray in and through us. Let us live in you and keep us in this union always. Amen.
ST. JOSEPH PRAYER
St. Joseph, unite my prayers with those of the other members and friends of the society of the Apostolate for Family Consecration throughout the world.
We know, St. Joseph, that Our Lord will refuse you nothing. Please ask God to bless the Apostolate and all of its members and friends. Ask Our Lord to help the Apostolate and its Lay Evangelization Teams to make the best use of the modern means of communications to consecrate families, parishes, and movements in the Truth and to help families understand and imitate the Eucharistic, Marian, and family-centered spirituality of Pope John Paul II.
St. Joseph, we are confident that you will remove all obstacles in the path of this spiritual renewal program so that our society may be transformed through a chain reaction which will renew our families, neighborhoods, parishes, schools, country, and the entire world.
Form the society of the Apostolate for Family Consecration into a useful instrument of the Holy Family, and never let its members and cooperators lose their holy zeal for souls or fall into the sin of spiritual pride like that of the Pharisees, which is so fatal to the work of God. Use the Apostolate as an instrument to bring about the social reign of the Most Holy Family in our age. Amen.
ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL PRAYER
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
GUARDIAN ANGEL PRAYER
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule, and to guide. Amen.
ACT OF CONSECRATION AFTER MASS
Heavenly Father, grant that we, who are nourished by the Body and Blood of Your Divine Son, may die to our own selfishness and be one spirit with Christ, as we seek to fulfill Your distinctive plan for our lives. (pause)
Form me and all the members of my family, community, and the apostolate into instruments of atonement. Unite our entire lives with the Holy Sacrifice of Jesus in the Mass of Calvary, and accept our seed sacrifice offering of all of our spiritual and material possessions, for the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with St. Joseph. (pause)
Our Father, let Sacred Scripture’s Four “C’s” of Confidence, Conscience, seed-Charity, and Constancy be our guide for living our consecration as peaceful children, and purified instruments of the Most Holy Family. (pause)
Let us live our consecration by remaining perpetually confident, calm, cheerful, and compassionate, especially with the members of our own family and community. (pause)
Please protect our loved ones and ourselves from the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Help us to become more sensitive to the inspirations of Your Holy Spirit, the Holy Family, our Patron Saints and Guardian Angels. (pause)
And now, Most Heavenly Father, inspire us to establish the right priorities for Your precious gift of time. And most of all, help us to be more sensitive to the needs and feelings of our loved ones. (pause)
Never let us forget the souls in Purgatory who are dependent upon us for help. Enable us to gain, for the Poor Souls of our loved ones and others, as many indulgences as possible. We ask You this, Our Father, in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your Son and the Son of Mary. Amen.
